Practice

All members at Harvest Massacre VI: Monsters Uprising.

When: Every Sunday from 12:00pm (noon) until 5:00pm. Get updates by liking our Facebook page.

Where: At Piper Park, 250 Doherty Dr, Larkspur, California. If you don't see anyone at noon, hang out for a while - sometimes we run a bit late. During the rainy season, we move inside to Conlan Recreation Center. This requires an RSVP on our Facebook page so that we can make sure you can get in.

What: Our weekly practices typically involve several different battle scenarios as well as one on one sparring. New players are welcome to come out and give it a try; we are happy to help everyone gain command of the basic rules of the game. We have loaner equipment and safety gear on hand for new players without their own.

Who: Newcomers are welcome regardless of experience. Anyone 15 years or older can play, but if you're under 18 you need a notarized waiver, or a parent or guardian to sign it in person. Adults will have to sign a waiver as well.

All participants must agree to abide by the rules set forth in the Book of War. Participants must also agree to conduct themselves in a safe and respectful manner, and to play responsibly.

What To Bring: Safety equipment such as mouth guards, knee pads, gloves, and athletic cups if you so desire. Garb is certainly encouraged but it is not required for newcomers. If you have your own full-contact foam fighting equipment bring it with you and we'll check it for safety and BoW compliance.

If you're under 18 and you haven't printed out our waiver, filled it out and have it notarized, then remember to bring a parent or guardian along to sign it in person.

Noracalia Moots

Every few months, realms from around Northern California including Mallenorod (a local Dagorhir chapter), Saracor, Grey Haven, and other realms get together to fight together in larger scale battles. At such practices, a different waiver is required, and cross gaming is accepted. For more information, check out our Facebook group.
