Setup
Captains may be assigned to choose teams with equal numbers of people. Otherwise, teams may be assigned in a way that balances skill levels between teams. Determine who the clergy of each team is before fighting begins. Each team should have a similar ratio of clergy to teammates.
Rules
Each team has one or more healers, or clergy. The team must be aware of who their own clergy are, but not necessarily the clergy on other teams. This otherwise plays similarly to a field battle.
Mafia Clerics
The identities of the clerics are kept secret. Each team can try to deduce the clerics' identities and target them, or attack opponents indiscriminately.
Divine Sanction
The attacks of non-clergy deal no damage to clergy and their equipment. Only the clergy can damage each other.
Phoenix Down
Once per battle, each cleric can ressurect a dead combatant (*/7 hps recommended).
Pacifist Clerics
The healers can neither engage in combat, carry weapons, nor carry shields. Recommended 3+ players per team, and mutual meditation healing.
Kill the Cardinal
In this crossover with Kill the Monarch, one cleric from each team is royalty and given the title of Cardinal. When the Cardinal dies, their team loses and also dies.
