Lore
Background: She is a member of the realm of Dunland and a founding member of the AKAB unit (All Knights Are Bastards). She is the official Dunland PR & works with the realm on event planning and logistics.
Character story: Primrose was born an Aasimar into a devoted, high-ranking celestial lineage, tasked with maintaining purity and order. She was raised in an environment obsessed with pristine light and flawless conduct. They expected her to become a paragon of angelic virtue—a reserved, flawless champion. But Primrose found the demands stifling - she was too bold and drawn to the complexities and passions of the mortal world, often being told her spark was "unfitting for the light." She felt consistently insufficient, never pure enough for the celestial life she was assigned.
Against the rules of her house, who believed physical combat was beneath their station, Primrose trained with the bow. She found the discipline of archery was the only thing that silenced the constant, demanding whispers of her celestial guides. Disappointed, her family gave her an ultimatum - accept her linage and fall in line, or denounce it and loose all of her celestial abilities. In a dramatic, painful moment, she publicly denounced her celestial heritage, tearing the symbols of her house from her robes. As she did so, her bright, pure wings were scorched by divine rejection, turning them black and gold—now a Fallen Aasimar. Her heart was broken by the separation, but she held no shame for the choice she made. There was peace in taking her life into her own power and a freedom to live her life to the fullest.
Cast out, Primrose spent years wandering. She had to use her developing glamour and knowledge of politics to survive, making difficult choices to secure safe passage and food—acts she isn't proud of, but which taught her the resilience of the mortal heart and that not everyone is entitled to your story.
She eventually heard of Dunland, a banner known for taking in all manner of passionate outcasts and embracing strength regardless of heritage. She saw a place where a "fallen" being could finally stand tall. She presented herself not as a failed angel, but as a weapon and an asset: she is the Messenger of Dunland.
