History

Val'Thayris is a combination of Norwegian and Dark Speak (Orcish) and translates into "The Blackened Fist"

The Blackened Fist got its start from Merex, Draid, Brom and Astrid wrapping plastic Halloween weapons with open-celled foam and duct tape and beating each other to a bloody pulp with them. A year after we were voted in as a full blown Duchy under the Southern Marches
