Role in Belegarth
Ti. C. Marcellus was a founding member and the second and final Legatus Legionis of Legio XXV Fidelis Constans in the realm of An Tir Dearg in St. George, UT. As Commander of the Legion, and one of the voting Tribuni, he was actively invovled in all fundamental training and decision making. Several contributions he has made to the sport are the creation of a Latin Drill and Ceremonies manual for the Legion, based on multiple resources such as the Ermine Street Guard and the United States Marine Corps
Drill & Ceremonies Manual, under which he trained when he served from 2003 - 2006, and the first posted instructions for a Rope Head Flail and the first posted instructions for a Roman Scutum made from a 55 gallon blue plastic barrel on the Geddon Wiki.
Tiberius Claudius was promoted to the rank of Legatus Legionis on Wednesday, September 14th, 2010 when Khalon Antonius announced his sabbatical of undetermined length from Belegarth for personal reasons. His first official act as Commander was to re-focus on discipline and bring the unit more in-line with military standards of conduct and performance. The unit now actively drills and is proceeding to fight in tighter, more effective formations.
The Legion officially disbanded after Christmas 2010 due to lack of participation and attendance by all unit members except for Tiberius Claudius. It was at this point that he was accepted into the Deshi where he serves as both red longsword wielder and spearman. At practice on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011, Tiberius Claudius was unanimously elected Realm Leader after Isk stepped down from the position after two great years of dedicated service and forging the realm out of nothingness to an active realm with War Council Speaking Rights and two successful regional events hosted.
In February, 2012, Ti. C. Marcellus was again unanimously elected Realm Leader of An Tir Dearg.
