Julfeist

A Julfeist is an adherent of Julfeism and/or a follower of Julf - The God of Drinking and Alcohol.

There is no official authority who decides whether a person is accepted as a Julfeist. Julfeism is open to all, regardless of race, age, gender, or previous beliefs. It is enough to believe in the central beliefs of any or all Gods of Julfeism. This is formally done by reciting a statement of belief to the Gods, which should be made sincerely from the heart, without which a person cannot be classed a Julfeist. It is enough to believe and say that one is a Julfeist, and behave in a manner befitting to the Gods to be accepted into the community of Julfeism.

Statement of Belief

There is no formal statement of belief in Julfeism, but many Julfeists us a variant of the following:

Oh, Gloron and Multjun and Klog and Hidiotunk and Gung and Horgumph and Foof and Moob and Wooz and Kelch and Gookoo and Flornork and Thorm and Punjoob and Hobunk and Julf and Marmik, I bow before you. I acknowledge you divinity and great power. I am humbled before you.
