Collegiate League
About
The Belegarth Collegiate League is a place where the officers of collegiate realms (realms that are tied to a college) can gather to discuss ideas, share wisdom, and help guide each other however they can. College realms all face different challenges than non-college realms, such as convincing advisors of their viability as a competitive sport club and getting schools to stop breathing down their necks. There are also resources available to collegiate realms that officers might not know about unless told. Despite the group being made up of mostly realm leaders, due to the comparatively short amount officers tend to stay in power before graduating, there is a constant influx of new leadership, some of whom have not been taught anything about running a realm, or just need some experienced veterans to bounce ideas off of.
The Collegiate League is meant to be a resource used by anyone who needs it, especially those who are currently in leadership positions. Members often share the resources and tactics they have used for their own realms, so that they can be repurposed for any other realm facing similar problems.
How to Join
To join the Collegiate League, you must meet at least one of the following requirements.
- Be a current or former officer of a collegiate realm.
- Be a student or member of a collegiate realm, looking to become an officer.
- Have an interest in helping or learning from collegiate realms.
Assuming you meet at least one of those requirements, you then have to add your name to the table below and either join our discord server and introduce yourself or make it to a meeting and do so there. After that, you are officially a member of the league.

Meetings
Meetings can be called at any time, but tend to happen before every semester over discord and in person at major events like Armageddon or Oktoberfest. You can typically find these on the event schedules under "Collegiate realm meetup" or something similar.
The Collegiate League also runs Collegiate tournaments at events, where many members will be present.

Collegiate Tournaments
The Collegiate League tries to hold tournaments at every Armageddon and Oktoberfest. It is often hard for realms to explain to their schools what exactly events are, so being able to say that they're going to compete in a tournament, potentially even bringing back a trophy to show off, can go a long way in showing the legitimacy of medieval combat, compared to other sports.
