A Tag team battle usually requires at least one Marshall on the field and it's a great mixer game, and good practice for when you have a bunch of noobs.
- A resurrection point is selected.
- A marshal is left at it to enforce resurrections.
- Participants form into teams of 2 fighters.
- "Lay on!" is called and fighters fight.
- When a fighter dies they lay down dead until combat has left the vicinity and go to the resurrection point.
- At the resurrection are teamed up with the next dead fighter.
- The two dead fighters "tag" and are resurrected. They fight as a team until death do them part.
Variation
- The marshal designates the size of the teams if there are a lot of fighters on the field.
