How to become a Syren

Deep within the hearts of some lies a deep sorrow and anguish. This energy gives off a subtle aura that Old Gods, exiled and forgotten by those that once worshiped them, sustained themselves off of for thousands of years. When a mortal gives off an exceptional amount of these energies, the Forgotten Ones extend a feeling of longing inside of them. This "Gift" creates a drawing towards the oceans of the world where the subjects kneel before the stones that rise from the waves and take the hands of these foul gods, to aid them in revenge against the realms that betrayed them eons ago.
