History (So Far)
Early in dee month of Manciee (October to you Hyoo-manz) a Goblyn woman burrowed her birthing hole. She close off dee entrance and begin birthing ritual. After dee birthing was complete, dee mother lay there, passed out. All dee little younglings go to mother and start suckling…all but one. Number seven out of fifteen, right in dee middle, he concerned about his mother, for she be weak. He take damp cloth and pat her forehead. She just bring him into world; least he could do was make her comfortable in her final moments. Later that night, shamans open dee hole to present new younglings to entire tribe. Fourteen crawl out quickly. Dey all begin feasting on fruits and meats gathered by dee tribe for them. Back inside, mother tell number seven that she proud of him but he need to go eat to be strong. She take dee damp cloth, tie it around his head like bandanna, and send him on his way. After he make it out of dee hole and head towards his brothers and sisters, his mother die in dee chamber.
Once he is reaching the feast hall, he arrive to see that all the other younglings had begun their feasting. He look high and low until he finally find dem all. He find an empty spot on the pile of food and head for it. He make mad leap for dee gap with his teeth gnashed, ready to eat the mountains of meats and veggies. Suddenly, his brothers and sisters move to fill dee hole, not letting him get to dee food. Even in his young Goblyn mind, he know dat dis be because of his treatment of his mother. Goblyns not supposed to help out others unless dey is getting greater or equal return. Well, he not stand for dem treating him like he not Goblyn. He get up off dee ground and make mad leap for dee delicious food. Again, dey is fighting him off, not letting him have dee food that he make long journey out of mother to get.
Well, up deirs. He not have to take dat. He leave dee city and is heading south for dee marshlands. He not know why, he just know dat he see faint glow of light in dee distance, and as all good Goblyns know, where dere is light food is near its. Making the long journey into the darkness, he is almost making it dere when he collapse on dee gound just outside dee small camp. Dee next morning, he is found by a very tall and wide boy. He is leader and be having short brown hair and light blue skin. He immediately take a blanket out of his pack and drag dee young Goblyn back to camp. All dee other boys dere gather around and one boy. A young barbarian which is even taller and wider den dee leader, he take a hunk of bread out of his pack and put it in his mouth. He start eating, delirious from starvation, not knowing or caring who dey is. Leader boy say something along dee lines of, “Cort, you is dumb. Can’t you see he is pale and having bones showing through dee skin? He is Undead. He must be vampire!”
