Fortriu

Fortriu is an ancient civilization which had met it's end hundreds of years ago when the valley it was located within flooded, creating a massive lake. Fortriu's true location would eventually be lost to history. it is rumored that somewhere off the coast of Blackfish Bay there is a large river which can be followed for hundreds of miles inland to the valley where Fortriu now lies. Sometime ago a Chinese Treasure Ship found it's way through this river, and washed ashore on on the lakeside where Fortriu once sat. Sometime later pirates had discovered the abandon ship and built a fortress around the ship's wreckage, and used this place as a base of operations to count their earnings and relax. Soon after the place became a safe haven for pirates and scoundrels everywhere and the Armada saw fit to name it after the kingdom that now resides deep under the waters of the lake.

Founded: founded October 2008 by Witherwood Company, then refounded by The Black Tempest Armada, formerly retired members of the original Fortriu, who reclaimed the name when the original was rebranded as Sunspear in september 2014
Practice Times: Practices are held every Sunday at 10am at Sierra Bicentennial Park in Fresno California, attendances range from 10-15 fighters weekly.
