Updated this, courtesy of Sir Torix whose page I based it on.

There are a number of excellent people pages, however this sample page is laid out to flow from the good stuff: Name Relationships Location Attendance

to the areas where people add extensive weight and fluff to their page: Lore, etc

The photos should be setup to allow for an easy face/garb shot at the top, with a larger action shot at the bottom.
