I have made several of these for neighborhod kids. much simpler than the wood bows I normally make and if they abuse/break them, easy to replace. A few tips: You can drill a hole in the handle (3/16) and inject expanding foam to stiffen the middle to reduce hand shock and increase the poundage slightly. You can also knot the string at both ends, permanently attaching it and then cut a slot that you can use to adjust the length. I will try to post pics at a later date. Doyle
