I traveled with Gimli to explore the Glittering Caves. Gimli had invited me into his guard; the caves were a trial for me. I met the Ranger of Ithilien along the way White Company to be exact. We had a merry old time drinking and sharing stories. Bonds began to form with this band of misfits. Then we attended the wedding of Faramir. That’s when I saw the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, her eyes reminded me of the gems inside the Mountain I called home. The way the lights danced off her hair reminded me of the way the sun bounces off the Mountain. I know she told me her name but I couldn't remember it. So Mountain is what I called her. A few years went by and Mountain and I became wed. Between Mountain and the Rangers I knew I wouldn't be returning home with my kin. Because as odd as it seems I felt I was already home
