Koobok Gna'

Forged in the gladiatorial Pits of Despair, honed by the rough stone of the battlefield, Koobok of the Stone-tooth tribe rose to be his tribes most brutal and renowned tactician. With the help of Koobok's council, the war chief Grort Stone-tooth amassed a horde second only to the great Tribe of the Severed Ear. All who would not gather under the Stone-tooth banner were instead crushed beneath their iron-shod boots. Finally, the Severed Ear and Stone-tooth were the only two tribes left in the region, with the battle to decide who truly was the strength of Grummsh fast approaching. In the crimson dusk preceding the mighty battle, Koobok was met with a vision of his coming fate. His army would be crushed, his tribe devastated, and his own head taken as a spoil of war. This he saw through the rituals of the augur.

The next day Koobok led the charge, knowing it was the will of Grummsh that his force would strike as little more than rain against the strong shoulders and shields of the Severed Ear. And with the gruesome business done, the whole of the Stone-tooth's mighty horde broken, and the war chief, Grort, himself dead on the field, Koobok stood before the Severed Ear's war chief and greatest warrior Old Soong himself, and he awaited his fate. But wise Soong was met with a different vision, and after smashing Koobok to the ground with his great iron spear he declared, "No Orc will take dis Koobok's head till Grummsh's will be done wit him. Him will be tribeless, and Da Jhurga will be him fate."

Koobok lived for months on the outskirts of the Severed Ear, spared only by Old Soong's command and the call of the Jhurga pounding within his skull. Until Old Soong's disciple, the prophet Soong Toi' Wei left the tribe to head his own call. Koobok followed, eager to see his role in the Jhurga fulfilled and to claim the warrior's death owed by Grummsh's rite.
