Description:

These creatures are barbaric canine like creatures who have an unquenchable hunger for killing. Hellhounds are known to attack anything that moves, and for this reason their god Noomah created targets (i.e: other monsters such as gnolls, skavens, kobolds, lizardfolk, etc.). Those these chaotic creatures aren’t always barbaric, some may have more noble tendencies than others.

Creation Lore:

From the shadows appeared a god with four eyes. One who could see from all angles. They stood out amongst the lost and wandering spirits. Slowly would it move with them, watching them as they aimlessly navigated the darkness of limbo. Soon the god grew lonesome amongst the spirits and decided to venture to the surface above to seek more. Even then they felt lonely and thought that to create a creature to follow them on their travels. A creature whose bloodlust was immense enough to match their own. Once the sun begun to rest for the night, they knelt to the grounds and scooped a handful of sand and ash from the ground. Attempting several times to create something from these items of the earth. But without structure it would crumble upon the ground. Never ceasing the attempts they decided to build a structure from a pile of scattered bones that lay strewn upon the ground. Binding them together with twine, and other materials. There in front of them stood 5 structures created from bones of other deceased creatures. Pleased with their efforts, the god decided to try fusing the sands and ashes to the structure using fire. As the ashes were fused to the bone, it begun to turn a brilliant red. The god was pleased with this and continued their work until finally, the creatures that were mere boney structures had shape to them. The beings that stood before them, lifeless, were still missing something though. The god looked around to see what he could use to finish his little creations. A thick creatures skull lay further off to the side, this would be what the god would use to finish these monsters. Picking up the skull and proceeding to fuse it to the body of the biggest creature. Soon after the rest had skulls similar to the first, the god eyed the creatures before him as a wide grin formed across his face. These monster would be a hell on this world, but the smile the god had soon faded as it realized they were not moving. This was something the god had not thought of in advance. Eyeing the creatures once more he decided to imbue their creations with pieces of their own soul. As the god did this, they begun to move, at first tumbling about, their footing not quite there. Once the creatures begun to move more and gain their footing, they begun to snap their jowls at one another, the god did not like this but knew it was the fact that they had no urge to control their bloodlust. After letting his creatures have their fun, the god thought of a different way to have these mindless beings control their urges to kill. Seeing them as they roamed around harming anything and everything that moved. Causing rukus and many unneeded or unnecessary deaths. The god thus decided to create targeted beings that these creatures would focus their minds to. Once the god had given them certain targets, he let his canine like creations go. The two biggest ones in the lead as they furthered their distance from the god. Tales rose about these monstrous creatures shortly after they left the side of their god, tales of suffering and pain.
