Gimp and go

From BelegarthWiki

A basic tactic commonly used by flankers and others attempting to press a momentary advantage of numbers. If you gimp someone, leave them there and go on to the next enemy. While gimps do need to be cleaned up eventually, they usually do not pose an imminent threat due to their reduced mobility. As a result, it's often better to leave the gimps alone if possible and take on mobile opponents who are a bigger threat to your team, rather than risk your own life and limb fighting someone who would otherwise be useless to the enemy.

It is a particularly important tactic in certain scenario battles with a fast overall time or fast regen, where either you need to be helping your team with more important foes immediately, or where killing the opponent will just let them come back fully regenerated in a little bit, respectively.

This term is also called 'legging and leaving'. i.e. "Leg 'em and Leave 'em, we've got bigger fish to fry."
