Belegarth Prime often has visitors from other worlds.

The mists are for the lore of those worlds and races which have at one time or another been in contact with Belegarth Prime, but do not have either regular contact, or a large settlement on Prime, but which nevertheless deserve their own lore.

It's a place to test out ideas, and let others look at them.

Writing and traditions here do not necessarily need to be compatible with the way things are done on Prime- your Kobold's is from another world, after all. This is where you can do things "your way" (right away, at burgerking now!), and is perfect for sharing your personal lore.
