About Valhalla

Valhalla began as "PSU Medieval Combat Club", which was originally based upon Belegarth rulings. It's first marshall is said to have formed the club after a falling out with other local fighters (some of whom would go on to found the other Portland realm, Cronus), and for a time the club was not associated in any way with Cronus or Belegarth. Over time, several of the older and more experienced fighters left the club, leaving relatively new and inexperienced fighters at the helm of the organization. With most of the old guard gone, the club began a massive overhaul of rules, regulations, and weapons in late 2008 that continued well into 2009. In the summer of 2009, members of Cronus and Valhalla began communicating on friendly terms, finally unifying the Portland area realms.

Being a student organization, Valhalla maintains a steady roster of PSU students, but is open for anyone to participate in. The club has a large armory of weapons (all of which are maintained by the club's master armorer) that are available for everyone to use, though if fighters have personal weapons, they are advised to bring them.
