Sand Plains Militia is a realm founded officially in 2011 in Stevens Point, WI.
Brief History
This realm is currently a club of UW Stevens Point. It was founded by two students who had started fighting after work with a small collection of co-workers. This group was broken up after the cops were called by people who observed the night fighting and thought that it was gang violence. Because of this, Stevens Point gained a Belegarth club that grows with every semester.
Practice
Practices are held every Saturday from 1-4 P.M. at UW Stevens Point's DeBot Field during the Fall and Spring, and room 154 of the University Health Enhancement Center during winter months (generally just when the snow hits). Due to it being based off of a school club, there are no official meetings during the summer break. Attendance ranges from 10-15 while indoors and 30+ when outside.
