About: Llyr is a young, relatively inexperienced fighter known for his strong determination. Named after the Welsh god of the sea, his name also describes what he strives to be: as harsh, unpredictable, and forceful as the open sea.
Lore: Llyr was first born as the orphan Lyman in the small, hillside town of Livohka. Without any knowledge of his heritage, he was raised in the town orphanage until, at the age of seven, he fled to avoid being sold as a slave to the highest bidder. He stayed in the village for many years, pickpocketing visitors and townspeople alike until he became infamous in the tiny village. Soon, was run out of town by the villagers and forced to flee to the nearby port of Poltragow. There, he earned some gold and stowed away on a merchant ship to a port further north. His plans failed, however, as he was caught on board by the crew and thrown overboard without hesitation. He was soon run upon by a single pirate ship following at a distance the merchant he had stowed away upon. The ship's resident surgeon was surprised and impressed that he was still alive. After tipping off the crew to the merchant ship's bearing, he was forced into the crew as a cabin boy under the name Llyr, after the Welsh god of the sea, due to his miraculous survival in open water. Now a proud member of The Cerberus, he goes wherever wind (and the crew) takes him, always searching for the quickest coin to repay both the crew and the villagers of his home town for all the trouble he has caused.
