Jerlaine is the last of the elves in Ered Duath.  He was found as an infant by the General of Oasis's armies Old Man.  He was found years after the elves had left and no one but Old Man knows how or why he was there.  He is currently trapped in hell after he was forcefully pulled through a gate which caused the gate to be sealed behind him and saving many lifes.

Upon being thrust out of hell by Sir Andrek he continues on his jounrney to find friends.  He soon runs into the Dogs of War and joins there ranks.  He forsaked his lineage drank the blood of the dog and is now a Lycanthrope.  He does not consider it a curse but instead a unique gift.
