Healing is the act of regenerating a lost limb, armor, a broken shield, or broken bow. There are no official Healing rules in Belegarth. In some Battles the Marshals may have certain combatants or non-combatants play healers.
Traditional Healer
Traditionaly Healers must:
- Be in physical contact with a person or object they are healing
- Recite a Poem or Ballad that is 100 syllables long and has been approved by a Marshall
- Not be within 10 feet of combat durring the time required to recite their healing poem
- Heal only one "thing"(limb, area of armor, shield, or bow) at a time
History of Healing
Way back in the day (1999) there were Official Healing rules in regular combat. Kegg along with many of the Knights of Numenor got a really cool idea: They wrote on the back of their shields a healing poem and all of them got it approved. By the end of the Event, War Council was already discussing the removal of the healing section of the rules.
