The first of the Sidhe to cross into the mortal realm, Gwydion has been around for nearly as long as anyone can remember. A Daoine Sidhe who rules over the lands and peoples of Summerlake, (as well as The Antemeridian that lies at its borders) he often ventures forth from Tir na Nog to the world of men for various and sundry inscrutable reasons he either cannot or chooses not to disclose. He presents himself most often as a bard or harmless lunatic; making silly jokes and absurd observations, playing music that often conceals messages or forgotten sagas in Clarion (the language of the High Sidhe), and telling tales of times long past. He is also regarded i some circles as both a competent combatant (belying his easy-going and often puerile demeanor) and a smith of wondrous splendors beyond the mortal ken.
Little is known of his personal history or life within Tir na Nog, save that other Sidhe often regard him as an amicable elder and that he is bound to the Summer Court.
