Free for All
In this battle it is every man for themselves. It is a battle to the death, last man standing if more than two people are on the battlefield of course. Alliances during a Free for all are often considered semi-dishonorable and against the spirit of the battle.

In a way every battle is a variant of a Free for All.
Circle Battle
All fighters gather together in a large mob on a single Marshal The Marshal starts counting down from a number (usualy the number of fighters or 5 - 10) When the Marshal gets to 0 they call Lay on.
