Danzig does not remember much of his early life... or much of anything for that matter. While his origin remain a mystery, his first memory was looking into Sun and losing much vision after. Half blind, he found his other senses heighten significantly, especially his sense of smarts. He figure it would be good idea to make head cover to protect from evil blinding intentions of the sun, and did just that.
While foraging one day, he meet one group of pinkfolk who was slaying others. The pinkfolk, who called themselves Dregoth, offered much booze to Danzig if he help them, so how could he refuse? After vicious battle, Danzig lose left hand in battle. Instinctively, he pick it up and run away. Eventually, it grow into smaller Danzig. After he find place to leave little troll, Danzig leave to reclaim his booze and find the Dregoth pinkfolk fighting hard at the Spring War. He join them and they make him member of their army. Danzig enjoy fighting with them, they teach him good human speach and they run alot. Killing and running keep Danzig healthy, so he has much strength to care for little troll who too small to defend hisself.
Danzig feel lonely amongst pinkskins, so he venture outward to Dunharrow and Loderia to find more of his kind. He find no more Trolls, but he meet many interesting creatures who help him feel more at home. They teach him to fight better and be more social. When Danzig return to Dregoth during the October War, he show them all he learned and they so impressed, they gave him much food and drink. Now it cold out and evil sun hide more, so Danzig spend much time caring for little troll and teach to defend hisself.
