Old Æmber

Croc, born in the woodland greens of the Scottish Highlands, claimed his first kill at the age of thirteen. That kill was the last death on his clan's land, and ended the raid that was started by a rival clan. The only survivors of the massacre were young Croc and Krit, the last of the Æmber Clan. Croc Æmber is a hooded Ranger that is most often found fighting along side his brother, Krit. Croc was once the Ordinator of House Dunamai, which was a noble house centered around the Dunamai family. Korbin the Mad, leader of Dunamai, trained Croc when he was young and taught him how to properly fight with single-handed maces. After a year of emmence pain, repetitive technique, and maturity on the field, Croc gained vast knowledge of the maces he wielded. Soon after the end of his training, Korbin and Croc were drawn apart in battle. After growing tired of "hiding" behind a shield, the young ranger began training with two-handed weapons that could break down the shield, armor, and will of his opponents, which was truly something that could be respected. Æmber symbolizes the teamwork and brotherhood of Croc and Krit Æmber. While Croc stands at the frontline fighting hand-to-hand, Krit watches their defense as an archer. Occasionally, both Æmber charge into battle, sword 'n board. When not in battle, Croc spends most of his time training, crafting greater equipment, and hunting bugbear for their pelts. Now, all he truly searches for is a new teacher skilled in the arts of the greatsword, and hopes to find one in the Northern hills.

Real World

Croc, born Jacob Avorio, began Belegarth in 2009 after meeting Nathan Strickland, also known as Korbin the Mad. He attended both group and individual practices in Crest Hill, IL. After Korbin moved away in 2010, Jake still participated in Belegarth. In late 2011, Croc moved away and formed Old Æmber with his greatest friend and blood-brother, and continued training at practices, events, and one-on-one spars.
