Beornve

Davenport, Iowa

Beornve was founded in June of 2005 by Poeir and Telanar when they returned to their home town after graduating from Tir Asleen. The realm gained speaking rights on the War Council in the fall of 2008.

Beornve is Old Norse for Banner of the Bear.

The realm has more than doubled in size each year, with the largest increases coming from the Celtic Highland Games of the Quad Cities where the realm performs demonstrations and allows people to borrow weapons and try fighting.

In addition to the demonstrations at the Celtic Games, Beornve hosts Thor's War each year at Loud Thunder Park outside of Rock Island, Illinois.
Beornve and Khador jointly host BearBlast!, alternating location each year.

Telanar and Ursyne, with the help of Gwynn, Gobo, Thunaer, Brandyr, and volunteers from other realms ran the Saturday feast at Armageddon VII.
