Feena, the pooka formerly known as Haldis.

Feena Thunderborn is a creature of luck and myth. For she is a Pooka, a Sidhe of chaos, change, and luck. She takes animal forms that allow her access to observe. When she sees mortals acting in ways that amuse or upset her, she adjusts their luck accordingly. Not entirely human, she has her own ideas of what is good and bad. So some of her actions can seem strange to others.

One of those others is her mortal husband. They met when she posed as human to get closer to the traveling bard Bren Thunderborn. His song charmed her as nothing else mortal had before and so she appeared to him. She took a human guise in order to charm him back, thinking a game of skill in seduction would be fun, for a short time. But true love grew from her game and now she walks with him, his mate and good luck charm.

She is loyal and caring to those she recognizes as family, giving her all in everything they could ask of her. She has taken up arms to prove her worth to all, her Realm and her House. She prefers the spear but is willing to learn other ways of combat. And she has found comrades and teachers, some not quite mortal like her, and some very skilled and amusing humans she has chosen as companions.

But be wary, curious mortal. She is Sidhe, and they are entities of primal force. They can change like the wind, be as gentle or harsh as rain, yet shine as brightly as the sun. And they all love games of skill, wit, and chance. So be sure of your manners, your abilities, and your purse.
