Montana is a northwestern state of the USA. It gets its name from the Spanish word for mountain (montaña), and its motto is also Spanish: "Oro y Plata", gold and silver. In case you're wondering by now, the latino population of the state is mostly concentrated in south-central Montana. The state has several nicknames for itself, including Big Sky Country and The Last Best Place.
