The sigil of Ordo Errantem Solis

  • Let it be known that this order of peerage has been established to serve the people of the foam fighting community, not only in Belegarth, but in all LARPs that our members find themselves a part of. In this endeavor we aim to, above all other tasks or quests, to cultivate a safe environment within all foam fighting organizations that will allow new, veteran, and casual participants alike to feel welcome. For too long now, malicious individuals throughout all LARP communities have created hostile environments that deter members, whether novices or tenured, from continuing their time in the hobby. This has resulted in the unnecessary loss of community members. We, the members of this order, do swear a solemn oath to protect all peoples of the foam fighting world that may feel bullied, exiled, persecuted, or any other form of unjustifiable attack by persons or groups in the society. It will be our task to act as a bulwark for vulnerable or defenseless individuals against the chastisement of ill-willed entities.
    • As a note: Neither the order nor any of its members will defend those who may suffer public scrutiny or condemnation on the basis of credible, verifiable, or empirical evidence that would result in the revocation of their membership to the foam fighting community. Paramount amongst these offensives that the order disavows, and will aid in the removal process of that offender, are sexual or violent crimes. Yet, any other severe offenders that are guilty of other serious crimes are also repudiated. We, as an order and individuals, do not tolerate such people because it is these types of malicious people that stand as an antithesis to our vows by deterring the retention of quality members in the society.
    • "Orders are not just a group of people or colors to represent, but a physical manifestation of ideals and morals to be acted upon" -Sir Igua
