About Wren: My name is Wrennen K. Nevermore, but you can just call me Wren (or Wrennen or Kara). I've been involved in belegarth for over a decade now and have just loved it. There's been a lot of set backs that have kept me from fighting as much as I would have liked, but I've been doing my best to overcome them. For fighting, I prefer sword and board but find archery fun as well. I also document the sport by taking photos which I've been doing ever since my first day on a field. I have been realmless since September 2014, a wanderer without a home, but I am still willing to help out as much as I can in any way that I can, anywhere that I can. I am always game for helping to promote the sport, even travelling to other realms to do so. I have no realm or unit. I belong to the sport.

History (the full story): Once one of the original members of Khador (longest member March 2006-Septemper 2014), now I wander on my own, helping any realm that I can. I've been part of this crazy sport since March 2006, but injury, illness, lack of weapons, and school have taken me out of fighting much more than I have liked. Injury to an already bad limb took me out for a good while early on. Then I got sick and it took about two years to get that under control. I started fighting again, but wasn't able to acquire weapons for quite some time so, honestly, I wasn't really able to fight regularly until 2011....and then another health issue popped up and is still waiting to be figured out so fighting still doesn't happen as much as preferred. The pain issue is still a thing but is much, much, much less serve than it was

Just because I haven't fought my entire career, doesn't mean that I haven't contributed in other ways. Since March 2006, I've been behind the scenes. I designed, started, and ran several webpages for Khador (Myspace, Facebook, etc.). I've also played the role of secretary several times, writing the final copy of the Khador Constitution and creating multiple waivers for several groups and events. I also served as photographer for Khador since I started and have since expanded on to documenting the sport as a whole. Through taking photos, I have been on the field a lot and have observed even more, so I have learned quite a lot that way as well. I also herald a bit. I am always willing to give advice and information on events, garb, and where I can with fighting and weapons. Basically helping however I can wherever I can. I'm always up for learning more as well.

The Tale of Wren: (Still in the works): Once upon a tail feather, there was a little bird living happily with its mate awaiting the hatching of their first offspring, until one day an ugly two-headed monster came and destroyed everything. The mate was thrown into the water, the egg into the air, and the little bird to the ground. Upon watching the egg bring thrown into the air, the little bird made a plea to the nature spirits to save the egg, whatever it took. The spirits granted the wish and the egg burst open into a bright and beautiful hawk. The little bird was, however, still cursed to the ground. In being cursed to the ground, the little bird and all of it's future offspring would there forever more be humans until the day, one of them would be able to break the curse of human hardships and bad luck that had placed upon them. Generations later, a girl was born of this line who was determine to break the curse that had been passed onto her.

Outside Belegarth: Honestly, I'm a tomboy in a skirt and a nerd. I love swords and other sharp pointy implements, classic cars; collect comic books; am into music, video games, anime, scifi/fantasy, etc.; and am a medieval nerd to the core. My junior prom dress was personally made in old world gown fashion. I've played D&D and other table top RPGs. Other than that, I write when I can but seems my main hobby has become photography. I'm also pretty crafty. I paint, design & decorate all sorts of things that can been on my crafting page on Facebook, make bottle holders, and have been advancing in sewing. I went to college and got a degree in English, which I will admit, has been pretty useless. So I went back and graduated with my degree in public health and nutrition in December 2014. Yeah, anything else, ask.
