[edit] Basics

Now known as Sparrow.
Realm: None since 2008.
Unit: None since 2008.
Weapon of Choice: Sword on a stick/naginata (appropriately sized).
Years of Fighting: Irregularly since Oktoberfest 2007.

[edit] Character and Persona

Age: Undetermined. She tends to exaggerate so it's hard to tell. Presumably a century or so.
Race: Fey, but not typical fairy type fey. An elemental with supposed Irish origins.
Gender: Assumes a female form because she feels more affinity to it.

Appearance: In her natural form she would have no corporeal body and would instead have been portrayed in an elemental form; fire or lightening were her basic affinities. She was also keen on assuming other random forms when the mood struck her -- a leaf on the wind, a squirrel, a maiden, a whale, etc. To suit the expectations of men, she would appear to them as a winged maiden if she so desired conversation. Winged meaning she would have anywhere from six to ten insect like wings.

However, due to some series of incidents she is now confined to a corporeal form. If she chose she could still be a squirrel, but she can no longer be anything that is not living and possessing a body. It puts a real damper on her usual erratic nature. Most often she is a humanoid female with brownish hair and hazel eyes, standing relatively short. Occasionally she sprouts what remains of her wings, or her ears are pointed, but this is mostly for flavor. After all, when you're that old things tend to get boring.

Personality: Flighty and excitable, usually very friendly and sometimes forgetful. She has her temperamental streak and energetic moments, but they are quick and short (hence her elemental change from fire outright to lightening). Sometimes talks in a sing song. She can be somewhat unsure of herself and tends to wince when she takes an especially hard hit (the sensation, no matter how much she experiences it, is still new to her), but tends to be otherwise easy going. She is also one to wander and is drawn to nature and old buildings because she finds it amusing to watch man's accomplishments being taken back into the folds of life. She can be sarcastic when she feels it. Overall her personality can have small and sometimes rapid changes. She tends to come to a lot of conclusions at once, like fire in a dry forest. As a side note, if she were to have a theme song it would be Mother Earth by Within Temptation.

History: It's really pretty vague and she seems to change her story every time she tells it, though whether she honestly doesn't remember or she just likes to reinvent herself is really unknown. There are arguments for both sides, but the fact remains that she continuously changes her story.

What is known is that somewhere in her history she was nailed by her wings to a tree using cold iron nails. Who did it or how it came to occur changes in her stories. She stayed there for quite some time until she finally pulled herself free. As a result she lost some access to her former abilities and became semi-mortal, but gained a slight immunity to iron. She now ages and feels pain, but striking her with iron does not kill her outright. It has not been determined if she can truly die yet or not. When the blade or implement is removed, she "returns to life." According to her it's an interesting sensation for a fey to "die" because it's really a sort of paralysis to her, something she had never experienced before in her natural life.

After another couple hundred years of wandering (and being exceedingly bored) she came across Black Company and was introduced to fighting. Finding it intriguing she joined them for a battle and was exhilarated. She eventually found and joined the realm Lands of Ameth and there found her place, remaining friends with Black Company. Overall she is friendly to most people she meets, if flighty and infrequent in her visits.

She is currently in limbo and no longer a member in Ameth or Black Company.

[edit] The Real Roki

Still short and friendly enough to most. As she has graduated and moved back to her home city she is less frequently seen in the foam fighting circles than she once was, but is nonetheless still interested and will continue to fight when her schedule allows it.
