Liss was a wolf cub all on her own. Forced to deal with all the harsh realities of the land. Scratching by each and every day in-order to get to the next. One unfortunate night as she was searching the town nearby her den a group of villagers took notice to the wolf pup rummaging about. The villagers grabbed their closest weapons and began to approach the pup. Scared and alone the pup attacked one of the villagers. The villager dropped a torch in which Liss quickly picked up. During all of the chaos Liss slipped away. Hot on her tail the villagers began to track her down. The pup traveled deep in the woods. She was alone and afraid in unfamiliar territory. Scared the pup decided to hide. Liss throws the torch down on the ground in order to hide better. A few minutes pass and the pup begins to hear talking and footsteps. Liss knew this is where she had to make her last stand. Liss sneaks up behind the three villagers and leaps forward. The villager falls to the ground knocking the torch that was on the ground into the bushes. Fire ignites and flames roar into the night. The pup frightened by how fast the fire spread turns to run. When the pup turned she realizes that the villagers had her trapped. Villagers to her front and fire to her back the pup braces to leap forward. Liss pounced forward towards the middle one. Taking a bite out of his arm. He begins to scream in pain as the other two villagers begin to kick the poor pup. Beaten down the pup cries out but there is no one around to hear it. Bleeding broken the pup lays as the three villagers approach to deliver the final blow. As the villagers raise their pitchforks a shadowy creature appears in the fire. The villagers look frightened. They scream to stay away but the figure approaches closer and closer. The next thing Liss know is that they were all dead. The figure walks to the pup and picks her up. He says “don’t be scared little pup in due time you will get your revenge on all that have hurt you. I am going to release you from the pain in this world. You have committed crimes towards Agrona, but it is okay many live life in ignorance of their actions.” The creature walks towards the fire “I am the An Bas, the Reaper. I will now free you. Liss” the creature walks into the fire. The pup screams as the flames reach her. Liss strangely felt a comfort in it though. The creature lifted the pup closer and said into his ear. “ Let go pup and you will have powers beyond your wildest imagination.” Liss Closed her eyes and let the flames embrace her. What seemed as seconds, but could have been minuets years or decades, the pup awoke. She was laying in the ruin of what use to be woods. all that remained was one tree withered and lifeless. As she went to stand she realized that she was no longer a wolf. She did not know what she was. Burnt flesh held together by ash. Again lost scared and alone she crawled to the base of the tree. As she gets to the tree a loud boom pierces her ears. “Rise my dear Liss. In your past life many have oppressed you, beaten you, and tried to kill you . Those same people have turned their backs on me. Killing me In the name of Greed and expansion You will bring my vengeance on them. You will turn your fear in to anger. You will make Generations crumble in my name. Dearest Liss you are Hyrrokkin, withered by fire, you are my warrior. You are my weapon. Bring me justice. Now go.” Liss sat at the base of the tree. She has no clue who she is. All she knows is who she use to be. “never forget who you are, but don’t let that stop you from growing little pup.” Liss lifts her head. The An Bas looms over her. “Take this, wear it so your enemies will know your upbringing, and the pain that has been dealt to you.” He hands her a mask that is the shape of a wolf. “you are free from the binds of your past life. With that freedom you will now be Known as "A" Warrior for Agrona and Hyrrokkin. Go bring vengeance in her name.”
