Long ago, gnoll by dah name of Kuru be born. Kuru always be cruel. At dah age of three weeks, she lead her sister into dah wilderness, kill her an' eat her. Dis be dah beginning of Kuru's history of greed an' terror. By dah time Kuru turn one, she be formidable in both combat an' magick. But Kuru be greedy. She be hearing tell of elfs far east of her home. Kuru know elfs be having treasures. Treasures to make Kuru stronger. Dah lord of elfs hold a magick crown. Dis crown, Kuru seek.

Kuru gathering three of her clan's fiercest warriors, arming dah first with bow. Dah second with spear. An' dah third with a club. Kuru take sharp knife an' her staff an' set off into dah eastern wilderness. After several days, dey arriving at edge of Elfs stronghold. First gnoll warrior slay sentries with her bow. As gnolls approach dah door, however, elfish trap spring, an' mangle her leg. Kuru having no patience for dah weak, an' order dah others to crush her head, an' strip her of meat. Dey add it to elf meat an' continue into dah stronghold.

Dey slay more elves inside, second gnoll stabbing dem before dey reach Kuru an' dah warriors.

Farther inside, an elfish wizard stands. He murmurs words of magick an' a bolt of brilliant light streak toward her, but Kuru pushes her spearman in dah way, burning him to death. Kuru orders dah remaining warrior charge. Dah warrior club dah elf to death with great enthusiasm.

Finally, dey reaching dah elf lord's chamber. Dey enter, an' see dah elf lord sittin' upon a throne of wood, his bodyguards standing nearby, an' dah crown sittin' upon his head. Kuru call flames from her staff, burning dah bodyguards as dey charge. Dah elf lord cowers as dah two gnolls approach. Kuru stab him with her knife. Elf lord cough blood, an' speak a death curse upon Kuru. "May you choke upon the spoils of this victory." As words leave him, his body go lifeless.

Kuru seize dah crystal crown. But her companion grows angry. Dey lost two good warriors, an' Kuru is dah only one with anythin' to show for it. "I come all dis way, an' no treasure for me?"

"No matter. Dah crown is mine!", Kuru say, an' stab her companion in dah heart. She fall dead, dah shock of Kuru's betrayal in her dying eyes.

Kuru stand alone in dah elf lord's hall, surrounded by death. She begin to strip dah meat from dah bones of dah elfs an' her own warriors, dah crown upon her head. She, havin' grown very hungry, begins to feast upon dah elf lord's flesh. As she eating, a bone sticks in her throat, an' Kuru begins to choke. With none of her warriors around to help her, she chokes to death in dah elf lord's hall. Her cruelty be undone by her disloyalty to dah pack.
