Persona History

After decades of the Green Plague, the goblin horde finally withdrew from their conquered lands in the icy north and fled into the Shadow Mountains (Ered Duath). In their wake only one village was left, though most of fighting men had been killed by an enormous bear left by the goblins. Only one large brawny woman was strong enough to kill this bear, snapping its neck with her bare hands. Made a widow by this demon beast, she raised her burly son Juggernaut as a warrior to protect the local village, standing as an ever-vigilant watchman of Ered Duath. The Juggernaut initially fought with the ragtag army of villagers known as The Wolves protecting the land from the demons, goblins, and other creatures that sprang forth from the Shadow Mountains. After several years the Juggernaut left this villager army and joined the Tyrdann Protectorate, a castle stronghold, based at the entrance of the Shadow Mountains. The Juggernaut squired to the leader of the Protectorate, Sir Turin Adlerik, pledging his service to the realm, but this service ended when the Protectorate stronghold was destroyed and Sir Turin left on a quest far to the northwest. With the Protectorate scattered and his knight gone, the Juggernaut ventured west, pledging his sword and shield to a group of Numenorian knights, building a coastal enclave, known as Pelargir. After years of training, the Juggernaut was gravely wounded, spending years recovering. When at last he could stand, he found that the Numenorian knights had abandoned their coastal stronghold to venture south. This time, the Juggernaut stayed and began to build the coastal lands into a vast and growing force with his old friend Kyrax. Every year joined by more and more warriors, this coastal land grew into a vast realm known as Norcalia, encompassing groups far to the north and south. The Juggernaut joined Sir Bogun and the Dunedain, re-connected with Sir Turin, resumed his squireship and today leads the front line of the Norcalia army, crushing all opponents.
