The Iron Fist of Crushbone

A little history... In the early years of the Hat Troll, Krag’hoth’hoth Grik’nahr was a simple soldier in the army of Trolls defending their land from vengeful Goblyns. While on patrol just outside his camp, Krag’hoth’hoth was out-numbered and captured. The Goblyns took him to their camp, where he was tortured and interrogated. Afer many weeks, Krag’hoth’hoth finally told the Goblyns of a campsite, which he knew to be abandoned, not far from where they stood, into the east. The Goblyns gathered their army and raided the camp. Little did Krag’hoth know, there was a Klutch of about 70 Trolls occupying the camp. The Goblyns slaughtered the Klutch, bringing its Commander’s head to their Troll prisoner. Krag’hoth picked up the head and turned it to see a look of total despair coming from his own brother’s face. Seeming satisfied with the anguish Krag’hoth was experiencing, the Goblyns released him.

Upon return to his Commander, Krag’hoth was labled a traitor and sentenced to life imprisonment for his actions. Before chaining him to the wall of the prison, the guards sewed Krag’hoth’s mouth shut to him to hold his tongue. And so he rotted in total silence within the confinement of his cell.

Generations later, Krag’hoth great, great grandson, Undarr, was born. He spent his childhood becoming the greatest soldier he could be. One day, while studying Hat Troll lore, Undarr read the story of his ancestor. Enraged, Undarr vowed to destroy the Humans, Elves, and Dwarves in the name of Grik’nahr, to regain his family’s honour. In an attempt to better his odds, Undarr untied with a groups of Monsters in a realm called Neldoreth. The Crushbone Tribe, as it was named, was found to defend Neldoreth from invading Dwarves. Soon, Undarr decides to unite the Trolls of Crushbone to harness the strength he knew only Trolls have.

First among these recruits were Elohssa Y’trid and Kraziks, the Moutain Trolls. Undarr tricked them into joining really. Mountain Trolls deny the existence of other Trolls, so he had to be cunning in his recruitment. He remained hidden amongst the tree tops, and convinced them to join all the local Trolls to combine the strength of the the fiercest warriors alive.

These Trolls would become what is now known as the Grik’nahr Troll Tribe.
