General Information
Each member of God Squad assumes a secondary alias, usually one that references religion.
History
God Squad was created by Melee Moses, Battle Christ, and Kombat Kane. God Squad made its first appearance at Chaos Wars IX. Because of the name "God Squad" it was taken as a "joke" unit, and was underestimated.
At Thaw Brawl 2006, Brute was the first member to have had to barrel in to God Squad. After completing the barrel, he was raised by his arms above the crowd of people, representing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He was then struck in the testicles.
At Chaos Wars X the God Squad faced off against the Gelfan Empire Team 2 in the ten man tournament and was beaten. God Squad rose to glory in the controversial Banner Battles and became an invaluable force against the Elite Blood Falcons. The Elite Blood Falcons were defeated and Iowa took home the Chaos Banner. Also Chaos Wars X allowed an honorary member to join from the East, Dagmar of the Dark Guard.
The unit, disenfranchised by the lack of efficiency of it's current members, became it's own established unit, separate from the Gelfan Empire following Chaos Wars XI.
During the summer of 2008, at Chaos Wars 12, God Squad created a trial and agreed to welcome three new members into its already impressive roster of fighters. Aleksii, Kanon, and Shino were barreled into the unit by means of a 30 minute marathon trial, which was brutal and exhausting. This capped off an already successful day as Battle Christ had risen to the challenge to lead God Squad to victory during the Chaos Wars 12: Battle of the Gods. The points won during these battles ensured that God Squad --for the first time-- would take the Chaos Banner as the Chaos Wars Champions.
At Chaos Wars 15, 2011 God Squad barreled in 3 new members. It was a baptism of vicious swordsmanship as the new members endured a marathon of pain and defeat. When it was done, Troll, Elerosse, and Rope became the newest members of the Church and agreed hence fourth to do God's work on the field.
Chaos Wars 16: God Squad, once again allianced with Hellhammer & Friends were out-done by the crafty Catalyst clan and lost out on any chance to take home the Chaos Banner. But not all was lost. The Unit Cloak was won the now legendary GodHammer alliance.
At Chaos Wars 17 God Squad welcomed in 2 new members, Fish and Coop aka Andreas.
God Squad is currently an independent unit with it's members committed to the success and progression of the unit.
