Special Considerations of Squires Not Squired to Canadian Realms

  • Canadian Belegrim, who are not squired to a Canadian Realm and wish to be part of the Order of Canadian Peers shall submit their Squire Task List to the Canadian Realm Leadership Committee for review and consideration
  • You can already be knighted before applying to be part of the Order of Canadian Peers
  • The Canadian Realm Leadership Committee shall be made up of the Realm Leadership from active Canadian Realms.
  • When Canada becomes home to active Peers within the Order, these Peers shall be included in the Committee
  • Should a member of realm leadership be the applying squire they shall recluse themselves from the conversation and process of their application
    • Should an additional body be required for an opinion, the realms may look to previous realm leadership to step in to give their opinion, if that member is still active within the realm and Belegarth.
    • Should an additional body be required for an opinion, the realms may look to any honorary members they have to step in and give their opinions
    • Should an additional body be required for an opinion, the realms may look to trusted non-realm peers (Knights, Guild Masters, Warmasters, Dragoons, Khadines, Witchdoktors, Mekoots) to step in and give their opinions.
      • This person should have a relationship with the squire in question in some manner (unit member, close friend etc)
  • It will be the responsibility of the Canadian Realm Leadership Committee to review and consider the lists of squires who are Canadian but not squired to a Canadian Realm
  • The committee will review the submitted list and speak with the squire’s Knight
  • If the committee deems the list sufficient and no additional requirements are needed they shall inform the squire that they are approved to join the Order
  • If additions are required they should not be a repeat of anything the squire has already completed
    • There should be no more than 15 task additions and no less than 5 task additions if additions are required
    • The squires knight is to be involved in the discussion when the committee is choosing additional tasks, if additional tasks are required
    • These additions do not have to be completed before the squire gets knighted, but they will not be considered a Canadian Peer until the additions are completed
