Types of Bows
The types of bows allowed in Belegarth Medieval Combat Society are composite bows (eastern bows) and standerd long or short bows. Compound bows are not allowed. The maximum poundage allowed for a bow is 35 pounds at 28 inches draw. Crossbows are also allowed; the maximum poundage allowed for a crossbow is 15 pounds.
